WHERE IS GOD?

Today we have been fooled by so many magicians and politicians that we are led to believe that there is no God, but there is. He is still alive and well, and in Heaven.

Several years my husband and I took a long dreamed trip to Scotland. I was teaching a class of 6-8 year old children on Sunday mornings in church. When we returned, they were anxious to hear about the trip. They were all boys, so they asked how we got there, how fast the plane flew, how high, etc. They wanted to know what the clouds looked like when we flew above them. One little boy was quiet, but finally asked, “Did you see…?” He pointed his finger to the ceiling. Then he quietly said, “God.”

That did shock me that he would ask that. I hid my smile and sat down beside him. “Really, hon, we don’t know where God is. He hasn’t told us where Heaven is located, but we do know it exists.”

So many people think because they can’t see God, they can’t believe in Him. I used to work in a bank. Each day I made a report of the money the bank had brought in and taken out. I had a total of the bank worth. Did I go to the head teller and tell him I wanted to see the money? No, that would have been silly. I knew my figures were correct and I knew the money was there. I didn’t have to see it to know it was right.

The Bible gives us several verses that tells us God is with us. One verse I like is Proverbs 15:3. “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Keeping watch on the evil and the just.” So, God is watching us. He sees everything we do. He sees the good and the bad. We can’t get by with anything that He does not see.

I have no idea how God can see what you do and I do at the same time, but He can. He sees everything everyone does all over the world. It blows my mind to think about it, but it happens. That is why we should be very careful what we do. God always sees us. He is an all seeing eye.
