YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL

This morning I couldn’t stop singing “You are Beautiful Beyond Description.” It’s a song about Jesus and his love for us. The beauty in Christ should be seen in every Christian, but sadly it is not.
Christians should have a beautiful heart, as Jesus did. Who else could say, “Forgive them for what they do,” as He was nailed to the cross? While hanging on the cruel cross, Jesus thought of his mother and asked his favorite disciple to care for her. How much does that show his inner self?
It is hard to forgive people when they do us wrong, but we have to. People, and teens generally, say things before they think. That one thing can hurt us. Is it easy for you to forgive that person? As a Christian, we have to. You cannot carry that hurt around, and the dislike of that person. We have all been there, and it hurts and makes our hearts fill with hate. We should never hate anyone.
If this whole world were more Christ-like, there would be no wars, no killings, only peace and happiness. Wouldn’t that be nice? God knew the nature of man and knew there would always be wars, and rumors of wars. There will always be self-centered people, only thinking of themselves.
The best thing to do is to be more like Christ. Learn to forgive, not hold grudges, and be at peace with everyone. Hold fast tot he Word of God. Read it daily, and practice what you read.
