Almost everyone likes a surprise. Whether it’s a birthday or anniversary, we like to be surprised. Surprises can be wonderful and they show love from those who love you. In the same light, God gives us surprises every day.

God made a beautiful world for us to live in, and He crammed it full of surprises. There is no way we can see everything on this earth in our lifetime, but it’s wonderful to be surprised by some things each day. If you travel much, you will be amazed at the lakes, mountains, and seasides. God made all of these for us to enjoy. (more…)

Models in magazines look so perfect, but how do we know how many of the pictures have been touched up to make them look perfect. Everyone has flaws, even the movie stars, singers, and models. They all have some little flaw.

When I was a teen, many years ago, I remember how we all wanted to be perfect. Well, I wasn’t. I was so skinny my bones stuck out. I do wish I were that skinny again, but alas, having three children helped me to gain weight. Of course, liking good food hasn’t helped any. (more…)
