“It’s my live,” you say. “I’ll do what I want.” How many times have we heard teens say that. “You can’t make me do anything.” How disrespectful and  rude! Your life is a gift from God. You have control over your actions, but you need to respect God and your parents.

I remember saying those same words when I was a teenager. I also remember the hurt look on my parents’ faces. They were so hurt by my actions. I would do anything I could to reverse those words now.

There is so much in the world to turn you from God. Your peers can encourage you to do things you would never have thought of before. Things you knew better than to do.  (more…)
